The members of Global Futures Kyoto (GFK) are the specialists of urban development of industry-government-academia cooperation, human resource development and international exchanges, being active in the areas of Kansai (Kyoto / Osaka), Kyushu (Ohita / Fukuoka) and Tokyo.
This NPO has been established for the purpose of developing the areal assets connected to the social common capital, called the “Commons”, supporting sustainable, self-reliant local activities and bearing part of the responsibility for such activities.
Specifically, we aim to be the NPO for Business Creation that practices the activities that contribute to the promotion of public interest based on three pillars: 1. Life Innovation, 2. Green Innovation, 3. Art Innovation.
